President Obama Tags in Biden
Last week Obama was clearly out matched by Mitt Romney in the first Presidential Debate...
This week, it was Vice President Joe Biden cleaning up the President's mess! First off, let me say I'm pro-life and I've already decided who I'm voting for. I'm not voting for Romney soley because I'm pro-life, but because he's a businessman that knows how to manage money and that is what our country needs right now... but it was clear to me that Joe Biden won the Vice Presidential Debate. He "schooled" for lack of a better term, the younger Paul Ryan. Fortunately, we're not voting for a President based off of their running mate, or President Obama would have this election won. Joe Biden can only do so much, the President is going to have to run a stronger campaign at this point.
I'm trying to be impartial with calling the debate winners here, because I think that's what is wrong with the voting process right now: Everyone is so partial with either Democrats or Republicans that its throwing the whole process off. Someone does not win a debate because you agree with their views, they win because they just make more sense.
The Vice President won this debate in my opinion for a couple of reasons:
1. Paul Ryan came off as treating the people like idiots really. He was telling WAY too many personal stories instead of talking facts and policy. No offense Ryan, but I don't care what you had for dinner and who you talked to. I want to know what your plan is to help the people you talked to!
2. Biden was just too experienced for Ryan, he made Paul Ryan look like a preschooler versus a professional MMA fighter. I don't know who prepped Ryan for this debate, but he obviously was not prepared for the Vice President.
Listen, its up to us to let these politicians know that we aren't stupid and we want to hear the facts and the plans. We don't want to hear all these stories and speeches that don't entail any details at all. That is why I am calling the debate winners impartially here. I came out of that debate knowing just as much about Paul Ryan as going in it... NOTHING!
I don't think these debates are going to change our minds on who we're voting for to be honest. Neither side is giving us enough information on their policy, its all political propaganda. Basically each debate's winner is the guy who talks a little more policy than the other guy, but that still isn't very much. This is not going to change unless we stop voting for the guys who give the best speeches and start voting for the ones who have the best policies and actually explain those policies.
Winner: Vice President Biden
