Pop Rock/Contemporary Christian Music single #ShineonBoston by @nbrum7770 (Nathan Brumley) a Boston Tribute Song Written by Nathan Brumley and Tyde Moore available July 16, 2013

(Nashville, TN/Concord, CA (June 18, 2013)The hot summer music is coming right '@' you. You should be able to pick it up at the Twitter profile nearest you; Nathan Brumley is about to make social media and music history and the inspiration provided by the people of Boston, will make those strong and amazing people part of that history with him.The songwriters, Nathan Brumley and Tyde Moore, title this single, "#ShineonBoston" and it will be the first ever song (to our knowledge,) released commercially with the completed Twitter 'dress-up,' the song title has the hash tag of course, that's nothing new to music; but we believe that adding, "@" before the artist's name and using his actual Twitter profile name is a risky first try; but at the same time it should allow new and interesting fans the opportunity of connecting with the artist on Twitter.

We must admit that we're not sure how all the online music retailers will handle this release, it is not comforting looking and not finding anyone else doing a release like this, then thinking, "Is there a reason nobody does this?" We also have no idea how the Twitter Music app will react, if at all... so, we'll find out soon. Again, the single will be released under the artist name, @nbrum7770; It should be an interesting social networking and music experiment, it's an especially nice coincidence that Facebook recently implemented the hash tag as well. We just want to take advantage of the power of social networking to send some musical healing to those hurting right now, so pray that it all comes together.

Nathan Brumley who performed and co-wrote the song made this statement, "Nothing is more rewarding to me than to turn what I love to do into something that can uplift others. As a writer having that outlet to encourage others means everything to me and I pray this song brings both hope and recollection of how good God is even in the midst of our hardest times." Tyde Moore and Nathan Brumley do not live in Boston, but they felt inspired to do something so, they did the one thing they know how to do best; write a song. The songwriters ask that you not purchased the song, but rather make a donation in any amount to the Boston One Fund, then pick up your free copy (high quality version available,) of the song at CD Baby. Time is running out to donate to that fund, if you have not donated yet and you want to then do that before the release date of this song; June 27, 2013 is the last donation day, and the release date for "#ShineonBoston" is July 16, 2013. Now you can see why you don't want to wait to donate, as it would be too late. The fund tells donators that 100% of their donations will go to those affected by this tragedy by July 1, 2013.

There will be a special early streaming of the single soon, keep an eye on these two Twitter profiles: @TydeMoore and of course, @nbrum7770. When the streaming begins, you'll have plenty of time to hear it as it will be available for at least a week.

April 15, 2013 was a dark day for Boston and for America, but even through the darkness, light came through and was victorious. Tyde Moore and Nathan Brumley were so touched by this tragedy that they decided to write a song for these people; the 264 injured, those who died senselessly: Krystle Campbell age 30, Martin William Richard age 8, Lingzi Lu age 23, and Officer Sean Collier age 26 and all those who helped save lives that day. Without a quick response from medical personnel, officers, and average (well not-so average,) citizens there could have been a lot more casualties. You inspired us and we hope that this song helps you in some way during your time of need. David Moore (half of Tyde Moore,) had this to say, "When you play this song, tweet it, put it on Facebook and other sites you use; include a comment with it, not to us, but to Boston victims and heroes. Their strength and courage inspired us, now it is time for us to give them some encouragement. Four lives were lost and 264 lives were changed forever by injuries, some of which may never heal. It has been a little over two months since this incident; we must let these people know that we have not forgotten them and that we will not forget them. The pain does not go away in two months, I am 29 years old, I lost a brother when I was 8, the pain is still there; others have long forgotten and that hurts. Strangely, for some reason at some point, you come to a place and see the rest of the world moving on and you're not, that's when it gets really hard. We can't allow that to happen to Boston victims. Not that we have to live a life of mourning, but we need to be sensitive and supportive.

Let's start with the supportive part, we want to read your tweets to Boston. A favorite of ours comes way before the song title was announced. This tweet comes from @CBFenix, "and shine as beacons of hope when we seem to be surrounded by shadows. #ShineOnBoston." Post an inspirational tweet like this @tydemoore and of course, @nbrum7770 and it is likely to get re-tweeted to their combined 33,000 plus followers. Once again, it is July 16, 2013 that you can officially add the song to those inspirational tweets.

Lingzi Lu was sent here by her parents from China to make a better life for herself in college, but now she will never return home to her parents. We cannot forget them. Martin William Richard was my age when I lost my brother, only 8; this child should not have died. We cannot forget his family. Krystle Campbell was a 30 year old bright woman that made people happy to be around her. We cannot forget those people who are a lot less happy without her. Officer Sean Collier was only 26 and he dedicated his life to protecting people, and was killed 3 days after the bombings and it is suspected that he was killed by one of the bombers. We cannot forget his family and his service. We also cannot forget the 264 people, some of which may never be able to return to work and support their families. So, if you donated at any time to the Boston One Fund or if you were affected in any way by these bombings (or if you were one of the people who helped rescue the victims,) you will be able to download the song for free from CD Baby upon its release. The song will be available there via honor system, we do not to make it a difficult process, you have been through enough already, this song is for you.

If you do not fit any of criteria for a free download, you may purchase it from any other online retailer or listen to it streaming. Let us show our enemies that when they attack us, they only make us unite together stronger than ever. They cannot defeat us with their hatred, because we have a love in our hearts that is too strong for that.
