Word of The Day - Fellowship

Today's word is "Fellowship." In the age of electronics and internet, it is easy to just watch church online... I'm guilty of it! But I do have people to fellowship with at home, my family... The most important part of church is the fellowship. We can study the Bible at home, we have so much knowledge at our fingertips to study with (especially if you're reading this, because you have internet). Fellowship is what we need to be looking to get more of, fellowship with the Lord through His Word and fellowship with other believers.

"Why is fellowship so important?"You ask... Because two heads are better than one, if one falls the other is there to lift them up. I have written devotionals for years for my combination of sites: GodsLovingKindness.com, GodsMercy.net, JesuSay.com, and I'll tell you something: If not for people reading and responding to my devotionals, I would've been saying the wrong things a lot of the time. I needed them to learn from, I needed them to correct me and lift me up. I needed them to encourage me to continue my work, without someone to lift me up I would probably not be writing songs or doing any ministry work at this time. Fellowship is key. Do not under-estimate fellowship afterall, God created us to fellowship with us. Notice how many times the word of the day is being used here? One more won't hurt... FELLOWSHIP!

You can't just follow Jesus on Twitter and be done with it, you have to do it in every aspect of your life... but you can get some good advice from other believers online how to go about it though.
