Romney Lays Smackdown on Barack In First Debate

Forgive the title of the blog, couldn't help myself... Obama just makes me think of The Rock. I think that helps him because he is just so charismatic, but in my opinion charisma didn't help the President in Wednesday's debate. In the President's attempt to discredit Romney's statements he just came off as if he wasn't understanding what Romney had just said.

I really wasn't sure about Mitt Romney, which is why I watched the debate. After watching, it seemed as if the President was being a bit more deceptive than Mitt Romney. Quite a bit more deceptive actually, and it was actually insulting our intelligence. Romney says he won't raise taxes on the middle class... Instead of telling us why that isn't true, Obama just goes on acting like Romney never said it or like he wasn't getting it. I find it hard to believe that a man of Obama's education didn't get it... So, to me he was insulting the rest of us and our intelligence.

I like how Romney kind of forced his answers on the admin when he was running out of time... instead of using that as a bail out and reason not to answer.

The clear winner was Romney and anyone who says otherwise, just favors the President (and that's ok, that's your right).
